Quetzalcoatlus

Even a creature with a wingspan of 11 m could fly in the sky. Quetzalcoatlus, whose name was derived from the mythic Mesoamerican feathered serpent god Quetzalcoatl, was the largest creature on the Earth which had an ability to fly.

Quetzalcoatlus lived in what is now known as North Amerca about 70 to 65 million years ago (the Late Cretaceous period). I wrote that Quetzalcoatlus could fly, but precisely speaking, it glided.
Paleontologists have analyzed the fossils of Quetzalcoatlus, and many of them believe that it had no choice but to launch itself off of the side of cliffs and glide. Since Quetzalcoatlus was really large, and the size was about the same as gilaffes, it could not ftake off from the ground.

I have attached a video to this post so that you can imagine what it looked like.
